Faust - an animated trailer for a theatre play

I just finished this shortfilm/ trailer for a theatreplay. It is Folkteatern i Gävleborg ( Sweden ) who produce Faust and it´s the biggest performance the ever done and it´s 3,5 hours long.

It was a great and unusal job. Instead of producing an ordinary trailer with shots of the actors they asked me to create a kind of shortfilm based on the play.
I created the characters based on the sketches from the customdesigner. The actors faces where shot and added to the characters. The music is a track from the play.
I am really looking forward to see the play. It will have premiere in 3 weeks from now.

It´was a joy to make this animated film. I hope you enjoy seeing it.

This is a new film about the climate change. It´s in Swedish but hopefull we will add english subtitles shortly.

We at Hellofilms like to solve problems and find new ways to tell a story. So if you have any unsolved visual problems ask us how we would do it.

Animation clean up

We have many stories we would like to animate. One of them is based on a book by great illustrator Jens Ahlbom. Here is a clean up of a test for this project.

Animation for LAU

We Recently made this short animation for the Scottish band LAU for their new album which will be out in October. It´s a mix of stop-motion and 2D animation.
What we like with musicvideos is to try to capture the music in images. Some music want to be explained, others not. There are so many levels to explore in finding the way to go.
